Nouria and Mariann in Norway
After spending most of my summer in my slalom boat or playboating on my home river, it felt good to be in a creekboat again.
Getting ready for a multiday expedition
It was my first time in Norway and I’ve definitly got to say that it won’t be my last time. Norway offers scenic landscapes and such great paddling opportunities.
Hiking through a national park
I enjoyed all the kind of paddling out there. Our first day on Mariann’s home creek, the Ula which is a small creek with really nice slides, drops and waterfalls. Our second day runng the big water slides and drops of the Rauma. Our multiday expedition on the Utla river wich is the deepest canyon in Norway and this even if it turned pretty bad and we ended up hiking a lot….

And of course the playboating and river runs on the Sjoa.I also eally enjoyed paddling with Mariann, being just the two of us on the river even if it would be harder to make some proper safety then.
Noway - creeker's paradise
I whish I could have stayed longer….I’ll have to come back.
