Greenland film wins another award
Olaf Obsommer’s and Jared Meehan’s film „Into Perpetual Ice“ of the adidas Sickline Team in Greenland has won the Best NZ Made and the Hiddleston/MacQueen Award at the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival’s film makers competition.
This year, 93 films were entered. The finalists will be screened between July 2nd and 6th in Wanaka. Jury members Mark and Jo Sedon said „we really enjoyed your film and think that the festival visitors will equally enjoy your work.“
Apart from top honours, Jared received NZ$1000 prize money – a good cash infusion for future projects.
