Best Whitewater Film at RPFF World Tour
Jared Meehan and Olaf Obsommer, Team Wave Sport Europe Ambassador and Germany’s kayak film-maker number one, just won the Best Whitewater Film category at the 2010 Reel Paddling Film Festival. The Reel Paddling Film Festival is a film contest awarding winning films in nine categories. The winners and other shortlisted films are then toured to more than 75 cities around the world, screening for an audience of more than 20,000 outdoor adventure enthusaists and their friends and families.

The film Jared and Olaf entered is called Into Perpetual Ice and deals with their successful expedition to Greenland, exploring the whitewater kayaking possibilities of this remote island. After a tough time making it to the rivers they are rewarded with excellent kayaking and a remarkable adventure. Don’t miss out these impressions well worth seeing. Here comes the trailer:
