On my way back to the Alps, I stopped for a few days in Lyon’s area. The water levels at the wave were not so good, but it was still nice to paddle there and catch some small air. After Hawaii sur Rhone, I also had some good sessions in st Pierre de Boeuf. I’m usually not a big fan of small holes, but I enjoyed it. I was very happy to stomp some of my first Mc Nasty’s.

Then I got back home and went for a river run on the Isere river with a local kid and my dad. On our way down the river we found two baby ducks struggling in an eddy. We rescued them and put the back on land, but as soon as I tried to leave, they started following me again. Be careful! If you paddle a yellow Project X and wear a yellow top, you look like a mam duck!
